I am not familiar with the movie, however to me, this seems like just a snapshot at a pond. With the smog one would be let to think this is suppose to be a 'scary' type of movie? However, I feel it isn't very strong.

Really classy shot.

There are so many things to like in this - the clump of trees filling the gap between the reeds, the mist on the water, the reeds leaning over rather than straight up, the reflections . . all in all a very nice shot.

Pretty setting and nice use of composition to provide a point of interest - what is behind the grasses? I don't know the movie, but it gets a 6 for quality of image
