| Great macro, I just wish you had a bit more depth of field. I like the composition, and the negative space on the left, and bottom of the photo. |

| Good tones, good focus, quite a pleasing composition, and some sense of depth. cropping to just the edge of the mouth disturbs the balance of it though, for me - especially with that area of light on the lower lip like that. |

| This is the type of picture my wife told me to take. And I didn't...good thing because it wouldn't have come out this good. Meet the challenge dead on. Good use of lighting to focus on your beard. |

| Would have liked to see mouth either in or out of pic, rather than chopped in half in this composition. Hotter light on neck distracts viewer attention from focal point of shot. Nice edge lighting on chin for good background separation. |

| The DOF is nice, and focus on the subject is nice. Background is not distracting at all, and lighting is good. I guess my only glitch is that it's not really something that I could sit and stare at for hours. Lacking on the excitement factor...but technically a very well done photo. ~Heather~ |

| Took me a second to figure out what the subject is. Maybe would help to have more of the face shape available. Definitely texture. |
