| Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I realize there isnt much here todo about textures. Ill try to stick to theme on next submission. Again, Thanks :) |

Your light setup don´t help you to reveal the textures of the subject. To reveal textures the light must be in a hard angle setuped to do it. A common setup is a lateral 45 or 90 degrees. I can´t see much texture here.

| I like this composition, verry much, however, I don't think smoke qualifies as a texture. Maybe a better closeup on the rose so it's textures would be more visible... I know you would loose the composition then but this is a textures challenge |

| I like the vibrant colors. I wish the smoke was a bit more prominent, but I understand how difficult that can be. |

| neat idea. that smoke doesn;'t really register that well - probably you need more of it, rather than having done anything wrong technically. Good light on the rose, though some won't like it being so direct and hard I would think. Quite whether it really 'mmets the challenge', I'll keave for others to say. good image. |

| Nice picture!! But the soft light does not really reveal the texture of the rose. Still a good one. 8 |

| The flower colors seem too bright with lost detail that lessens the impact of the texture. |
