Overlay from and

Posterized image and desaturated slightly.
Overlayed with lighthouse texture.
Combined layers and duplicated to emboss the copy and overlayed that.
Dodge and burn and slight color adjustments.

Nice use of texture, but that skewed perspective throws me off.

The overlay really adds to give this more interest. Just for myself I might have reduced the effect just a little.

I really like the way the texture sort of mimics the rock wall in the background. I also like the angle that you chose to take the photo in. Great job!

WOW ... INTERESTING & MESSY !!!!!!! .. but hey, i'm big on messy and busy .. brilliant image .. very interesting tilt too .. the texture is perfect for this and gives it a wonderful 3D feeling .. :)
i just read wot judy said after i wrote that bit, and i couldnt have said it better myself !!.. :)

I think its interesting, maybe if you used the eraser to remove the overlay from the boat it would sharpen the boat and that would become the focus of the image.

This is cool cause it looks like the image of the boats was printed on paper, then it got all wrinkled and wadded up and then you flattened it back out. Fun isn't it?
