 Comments Made During the Challenge

I usually don't leave comments where I have a hard time saying something good about a shot. I'm sorry but this is a very unappealing presentation. The colour of the chocolate is so unnatural and it is quite obvious that the shot was manipulated to get it that colour. that centre almond has a green tinge around it. If I am wrong I apologize. 4

Great subject, but blurry. The purple steals the center of focus.

Colors here are just not appetizing. Would try to tone down the greenish look of the nuts and get rid of the pink background.

Too busy, Can't tell if it's in focus or not (leaning toward not) and what the heck is the purple thing in the middle? Oh and are the green things nuts? Not sure I wanna know.

I love dark chocolate. The colors seem to be off. I think if the chocolate had covered the whole frame, without the background showing thru, it would have looked yummy.

The purple underneath the chocolte detractes from the image, I think... it's distracting.

The color seems way off on this, why are there green things in your chocolate? Kinda leaves an unappealing taste in my mouth and I soooo love chocolate. As far as the technical aspects (other than the color) Seems a little too close up, and the purple background distracts from your subject a bit as well as the scratches in the chocolate. It is in focus but might be cropped just a little too tightly. It is black, therefore fitting the challenge. But again, these are just my views and I hope they're helpful. :)

The focus could stand to be sharper on this, and the more I look, I have trouble telling what I'm looking at. I'm guessing that the blackest parts are actually chocolate and those are nuts in the chocolate. The pink part in the center really draws the eye wanting to be the subject but doesn't seem to be related to the photo in any way.

That is so dark it looks more like tar than chocolate.
