Great image and great result.

Maybe you would've ribboned had you used a DSLR :)

I have been gawking at this photo for half the day. This is image is mind blowing no matter the how or with what it was captured. Clearly you are a skilled pilot. This photograph motivated me to try harder and hopefully do better.

(I think the idea was to have the person drifting away.) Awesome shot and congrats on the high placing!

How on earth.... with a 2mp non-AF cameraphone? Amazing!

This SHOULD have ribboned. Seriously.

4th place with a phone? Awesome!
11/05/2007 10:32:13 AM
WOW!! With a PHONE?? This is totally amazing!! So explain the shot for me please? Is this in a pool? the Ocean? There is movement in the water so maybe some kind of tank? And the lighting which really makes the shot stand out. Are there 3? One from the bottom, one from the upper right and one from below?

Just amazing!!

An iphone???? OMG. . .way to rub it in :) Wow! What an incredible image to have taken with a phone! Congratulations on the honorable mention, and winning the bet. I hope you bet lots of money :)

Congrats on your 4th, not bad for a phone (even if it's the wonderful iPhone).
11/05/2007 02:55:40 AM
definitely better than either of the ribbon winners, awesome !!
11/05/2007 12:51:10 AM
Ha! An iPhone? That should calm down the folks who swear you need an SLR to do well on DPC. Well done!

This is killer good. I can't remember last time such an extreme "shape" of an image has done so well. One of my ribbon picks.

11/05/2007 12:04:48 AM
