 Thought of using this for the "beginning of the end" but then figured the diagonal of the "horizon" would put people off. This has mega editing. Layers, gaussian, paint, burn, sharpen, clone (the bokeh) and adjustment of levels.

The bright white is the concrete of the damn part of a small man made lake near our neighborhood and this plant was growing right against it.

Beautiful soft warmth throughout along with that bright pop of vivid blue on the butterfly. I love the diagonals of the stems in the image, and I think that the diagonal "horizon" fits in with that perfectly.

Wow! The processing was worth it. Beautiful result. I love that dash of blue in the butterfly.

My only suggestion would be to have a little more space on the left of the butterfly -- he feels very cramped. But that's just me. As I said, a beautiful result.

P.S. I never even noticed the diagonal until I read your notes. 8)

Absolutely beautiful. I'm really not into bugs and have a butterfly phobia, but I can actually look at this AND appreciate it! The blue in the bug is stunning - as well as all the colors, so soft and wonderful. Great job!

how perfect is this photograph .. a beautiful design .. gorgeous colours and i love the white area ... the butterfly positioned there in the image totally works ... i love his little legs ... another brilliant jutilda !!!!!!
