| the crop could use some work. i would either give a little more space around the edges, or crop further and only focus on what you find most interesting. your subject seems trapped as you have it. |

| The soft focus and the centered subject don't really make this as good as it could be. The colors are interesting though which gives this subject some potential. |

Very nice low key shot. You are cropped a little tight for my taste. Also the textures a bit de-emphasized due to not so creative lighting...

| Good scene of its type - rather bucolic perhaps. Your lighting could have been better to emphasise the texture here, like this its rather flat, and perhaps in the end its a simple figurative representation of the decoration. |

| Over exposed and not very interesting. A photo of a pretty thing rarely turns out to be a pretty photo. |

| Like the square framing, colors are calming and fit the image, solid image - to make it better -- lessen the crop on top/bottom (cut off part of the design) and play around with lighting to add more drama to the carved image. |

| I'm not sure how well you''ll score on this one, but I really like it. I think the tones of the photo combined with the subject make a lovely shot. I very much like the lighting and can see the texture. |
