Shooting elsewhere for a Hair theme. I used my four clamp lamps with aim two behind me and below my head pointed toward the back of my head. The other two where to either side of my head and pointed towards a reflector. I don't think the second two had much of an effect of illuminating my face. Pretty much haphazard but I thought the final result interesting. Not that I have my panaflex set back home, I might try difussing and resetting the front reflector to avoid the harshness of the light on my face but I would still want the harsh light to illuminate my hair. Not sure how I'll do that in my limited shooting area. In this I had the camera on tripod with manual remote I shot as I ran my fingers through my hair. I will try this again with a different set soon, I hope, well before I finally lose the locks which have not be shorn since Feb!LOL. Don't think it will do for the job market that I'm going to have to hit soon and my mom is freaking out!

Oh, don't cut the locks. Pull it back if you can, but don't cut it! And I really like the light play in the hair. Works for me on the face, too.

Just beautiful, Banmorn! Your lighting techniques take this portrait to new heights and I'm certainly glad you kept your hair unshorn for so long. It just won't go in that Philadelphia job market? Darn! there's gotta be a way.
