 This shot didn't make the front page, it was on A4 the day after. Might have been - after being cropped, curves-ed, sharpened properly, and color balanced a little, mind you, but there was a story about a lesbian chick and her christian parents that took up half the paper, including A1.

This was DQ'ed because the paper's 1D, which I shot it with, had an incorrect date set. Since the administration doesn't accept any means whatsoever of proving that the date/time rule was not in fact broken, a rule-abiding shot is gone and I'm no longer interesting in playing the challenge game.

a nice image, but would be nicer and more true to photojournalism if she was not making eye contact with you. this makes it more of a portrait.

Great image, so clear. It's a real pity you didn't have a reflector it would have made this perfect. As it stands the shadows over the face, particularly the ideas is less than ideal.

I would have really loved this without the dark shaddows on her face and the colors to be a little more saturated. Pretty good though. 5

This is really great. The bubbles add so much sparkle...and I love her red fingernails peeking into the frame. I do wish her eyes weren't in shadow, though.
