The vignette gives a sad feel, great way to show us your emotions.

| You could title this one "Paradise Lost." Bummer. There are too few independent bookseller's around. Fortunately we still have a few in San Francisco, so I get my fix at lunch. But my favorite ever is the Tattered Cover in Denver ... a great shop worth a visit if you're ever passing through. City Lights runs a close second, tho. |

| Oh how very sad indeed!! I love small quiet private bookstores like this. Shooting with that low golden light really enhances the sense of "closing" - end of the day (even if it wasn't - the light suggests it), end of the bookstore. :-( |

| Kind of poignant with the glow of light the way you captured it. This reminds me of that movie with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks (where she is a bookstore owner and he is putting in the big mega chain bookstore). The little guys just can't win any more. |

| It's a real shame to see these small stores go away. Places like Borders just don't have the same feel to them. |
