 There are some people in the hood here who really go all out with decorating their house for Halloween and Christmas. Usually you will see people slowing down to check out all the lights and decorations. Well tonight, of all nights, they chose to conserve energy and not turn the lights on. Just some flashing strobes. My fave part in this pic is the hanging ghost.

I am not sure how this would have turned out with it all lit up but I like this as it is. The graininess really adds to the overall creepy feel of the picture.

For this shot, it looks even spookier without the lights being on. I like the grainy effect too, sort of like an old time horror movie. If you catch the place again with the lights out like this, then a tripod and some light painting would be a lot of fun.
