I love the processing on this. The texture does work well with this scene. I like the various colors of the shops it leaves me wanting to explore them myself.

Very cool shot, the texture is perfect! I love the slightly washed out look, really very 50's, and love the leading lines into the center of the shot. Makes me want to do down there and see what other shops are around. Well done!

The scene looks reminescent of the '50s (pastels colors of the shops, low buildings) and the "old photgraph" texture you applied emphasizes that feeling. Works for me - really nice job!

You did a fantastic job on the processing. That texture really adds to the effect.

I like the way your processing makes an ordinary scene more than it appears - almost a retro kind of thing going on here. The "Hot Bread" sign adds to that, too.

Very nice photo, as others have said the colors, angle, subject and especially the post processing all work extremely well together for me in the photo. A very simple photo that has been elevated to a beautiful image.

As others have said, the processing takes this ordinary scene and makes it something else, but it took your photographer's eye to see the potential in the first place and snap the picture ... which was exactly the point of this challenge. Great job taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary!

an interesting perspective - the lines leading to the center and the very harsh processing make for indeed a dreary and antiqued look

I love the old 50's feel here! What a great shot!

The texture is cool! It gives your pic this grainy film feel.

Just right. The texture makes an interesting pic out of an ordinary street.

Oh yes it does! Aren't we becoming the texture extraordinaire's :)

The texture really turns this from ordinary to WOW! I love the old feel that the texture gives this.

Awesome shot. You've put Goodman's texture to good use. I love the perspective and the body language of the two figures.

This looks like it would be a great place to do some candid street photography (on a busier day of course). The texture layer gives it a wondeful third world feel. Well done.
