 Converted from RAW, greyscale, cloned out dust, contrast, reduce noise, sharpen, resize, save for web, submit

I guess I should have left some further details......this effect was just a result of what happens with reducing noise hard, and hammering the contrast. It was actually a sunny, bright day, with the wind blowing wisps of clouds around, and they just went dark and bleak with PS.

This is the Grace United Methodist Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and I sure that the members of the congregation would be mortified at this perspective of their beloved 200 year old church.

You did a really nice job with this. When I first looked at it I thought it may have been the Scooby-Doo tower at King's Dominion here in Virginia (used it for a reflections challenge). Obviously it's not. :-D

This location would make a great shot for a Halloween challenge too! Of course, you'd need that dramatic sky to cooperate again. :-P

Well, congratulations, Jeb!! All your worrying was for naught -- 7th place with a "top 10 star" is something to be proud of. This is a wonderful image -- very spooky and appropriate for this season. And look at all those 8s, 9s, and 10s.

I love the darkness of this shot, nice and moody almost painting like, I like it a great deal! I hope other voters think the same, as I'm not TOO sure if they will like it or not lol but don't listen to me I never know how to please these people!! ;)
