okay...first of all she IS alive!
I had so much fun with this. I was pleased to see that so many of you have a great since of humor. Obviously this is not very good "Technically", but it was so funny i couldn't resist.

I was agonizing over what to do for this challenge when my co-worker had the idea to put peanut butter on a pencil and give it to a squirrel. We walked over to the park..dropped it on the ground.. and to my surprise...it took about 3 minutes for this little female to pick it up. I took some pics that were much better, but this one (as she ran up the tree with it) was the only one apropriate for the challenge.

Oh and she threw it back to me from the top of the tree when she was done!

Thanks for the fun!

Ok how much did you pay your model? Does he work for peanuts?? He look a little off his nut... Ok I'll stop. How did you get him to hold the pencil? Is he stuffed? No matter, this is a great find no matter what and totally different then anybody else in the challenge, so good on you for that.

Wow, this must've taken some patience. I think a tighter crop would help this from a technical standpoint.

Nice idea but poor composition. I know it's difficult to capture such images but technically the foreground is too distracting..6
