 I think that I'm in a bit of a spooky trend the last couple of days.

turned to grayscale in adobe camera raw
split toning
selective color
color balance
separate curves adjustments on the sky and building


oh, and I took a bird from another similar shot and stuck it in this one because I liked it :)

*Deb, I was wondering that same thing...in just a few short hours this image has racked up more views than any other that I've ever posted! Hmmm...go figure.

All those views because she accidently put it in the Nude gallery. :P Just kidding. :) This is cool, but I got "Europe" out of it rather than "spooky" for some reason. I wonder which is the extra bird?

this is spooky! very hitchcockian (if that's not a word, it should be). coloring is perfect and the off-center composition rules.

Spooky is good now that Halloween is just around the corner (despite its appearance in markets at least a month ago). I'm guessing you added the bird on the lower right. Just a hunch - nothing obvious. Great sky.

I love it! That is so cool that you added your own bird to this photo. You really can't tell. Aren't we having so much fun with our "Can't do that in a challenge" trickery :)

I really love the composition and the tones in this. It does have an eerie, mysterious feel, but really nice.
