Well. . .what would a SandyP slice of life be without one of these birds. I took a picture of one at the park, fully intending for it to be just a normal majestic photo of a white bird against the sky.

But. . . to heal my wounds over having to re-work my Point of View entry because what was legal in basic this morning, became illegal this afternoon (tone-mapping), I decided to get all the illegal stuff out of my system on today's slice of life photo since I can't on my challenge entry. Wahhhhhhh

Anyway, my thoroughly timely taken bird photo is now set against a previously taken moon photo. . .and dipped in a flood filter. So there. I feel better now :)

Other worldly! Great capture and perfect placement of the moon. Love the two diagonals crossing just off center.

Cool! Great shot of the bird and pretty good fancy-pants editing. I like how the flood flooded out the side borders. Clever!

We ALL feel better, Sandy. This is just stunningly beautiful. The delicate tones are gorgeous. The sky could not be a better background for this incredibly breath-taking bird. And what a fabulous use of the flood filter.

I'm in awe.

I like this a lot! It just has the 'other worldly' feel like an old sci-fi cover and is graphical almost to Pan Am poster levels. Super!

Astounding. The paleness of the tones combined with the delicacy of the details in the bird make this a standout. What a graceful and beautiful image this is.
