Good lighting on the Woody, but shallow depth of field results in distractingly out of focus pencil point.

I had a thought for something like this, but didn't put it together in time. This is different and creative.

The directionality of the pencil takes my eye out of the image.

I'm not quite sure what the pencil is representing...other than a pencil, but i do like the lighting.

I like the lighting on this, it makes him look a little dark and interesting. The focus is really strange though. The tip of the pencil goes out of focus so quick I'd almost thing it was blurred on purpose.

I'd prefer to see great DOF. Is the pencil the subject (not in focus) or the figure (in focus)? Is the pencil a prop?

Who's the model and who's the artiste? Great sense of humor, perspective and use of DOF.

A bit dark and shadowy?

The lighting seems off - uneven. I also wish the point of the pencil was in sharp focus.

Nice dramatic lighting. Good job of controlling the highlights.
