 This shot was taken early in the morning with the aid of a tripod, no filters and very little PS work. It is of the Altamont Pass area in California where the "Altamont Rock Concert" was held in 1969

Good framing, awesome color. I like this photo a lot for this challenge. It really concentrates on one of the four elements and doesn't try to cram 2 down my throat. Great sharp silhouettes and a good theme and mood 9

Wonderful sky and good use of scale for the windmills. Would have scored this a bit higher if the air was more in play (in the form of wind)

Great colors and a nice composition. The only minor points are that the horizon isn't quite level and the main lwindmill overlaps with one behind it. It would have been great to see the bottoms of the towers, but given the darkness that probably wouldn't be possible without losing the coloration in the sky.
