we went looking for a car for elle today .. she's greg's oldest daughter .. this is her in the drivers seat of the car she actually bought .. at this stage she wasnt sure if this was the one she wanted or not .. after this photograph was taken she took it for a test drive and fell in love ..
polarizing filter on ..
processing was ..
open jpeg ..
did a touch of lucisart on everything except elle's face ..
cross process at 27%
b&w conversion with cyan tint at 34%
cloned out a bit'v car top lhs ...
You did a good job managing to not get the reflections of the clouds where she is, but I supposed the polarizer helped with that. At that age a car is so marvelous, now it's a pain to drive and drive and drive...
I'd tell her to watch out for all that steam on the windshield. Maybe she should have someone look at the defroster...
Great shot with all the reflections. She looks absolutely in love.
Awesome processing Roz. She's sitting on the wrong side of the car, you know. ;o) Love the cyan tint and the reflections. And congrats, Elle, on the new car!
Before I read the comments, I'll comment. THIS IS EXCELLENT. I love the fact that we aren't quite sure and have to interpret it for our own explanation. To me, she is driving through clouds. Her expression is thoughtful like maybe she's headed for heaven and she is reliving her life, to make sure it's a worthy one. Ok, way too deep. I'll drink some more coffee now. ;~D Love the acid and the overall feel of it. YOU ROCK.
Again you just astonish me with your photographic eye, and processing skills.....
Gee she is a stunning looking young woman, and I wish her lots of good times in her new car.....
