 So this was going to be my photo for yesterday before I went out and shot the sunset. You're seeing it today because I didn't shoot anything today. Wasn't feeling so hot and was pretty tired so I slept most of the day. Which now means that I'll probably be up most of the night. Oh Yay.... Another appointment at the hospital tomorrow, nothing major, just more of an annoyance. Blech.....

This is the lake that runs through the middle of Longview, Lake Sacajawea. The bridge is crossing over to a little island where the Japanese garden is. My sons like to "explore" it. :)

Landscapes are definitely out of my comfort zone but something I'd like to shoot more of now that I live in a place that has such great opportunities to shoot them.

Wow the colors are amazing. I love the overall tranquil feel of the picture. Great capture of the beautiful reflections in the water.

Those are soem awesome colors. The trees are just now beginning to show some color at the highest elevations around here.

all of this hospital/doctor stuff better not be anything important.

the reflections here really make this shot. this is my favorite time of year, and photos like this are why.

of course, it's going to be 91 here today. wtf is up with that?

Autumn has always been a time to feel alive and well (for me). I guess its the beauty and the lack of heat and humidity (I say that and we're still getting 90s every week or so).

This is such a beautiful autumn shot. I'm afraid I only had a chance today to look at thumbnails and this one stood out the most. It looks like a painting or a jigsaw puzzle picture. I hope you're doing OK. Hospitals are unhealthy places to go to.

i'm sorry you're having a tough time .. i know from experience that annoyances can all add up to a major pain tho ... hope everything works out for you ...
wonderful that you have such an amazing talent as a photographer to make up for those annoyances .. this is a stunning photograph caught to perfection .. the colours are so vibrant and lovely .. a fantastic scene .. :)

Auuuuuugh. . .Jennifer!!! That is GORGEOUS!!! Autumn is breathtaking there! One of my best friends grew up in Longview and still has family that lives there. We visited it a couple of years ago, and fell in love with Washington's stunning beauty!

You are BLESSED. . .and we are blessed to get to see your photography from there :)
