... we figured out where Miss Kitty had gone.

I know, I'm sick in the head. I adore cats, of course. I'm part cat, myself.

Let me take this opportunity to thank roz, my best friend in Australia, who is a pioneer in Photoshop and filters and is continuously inspiring me to push the envelope in my photography explorations.

That said - behold the flaming pear flood filter! I've been putting water in every photo all day long. Everything looks better with water! Just kidding, of course. But I did this one (originally shot for the BW side last month) and am fond of the processing. I'm probably blind to the overdone effect, but hey.

Ordinarily, I don't care too much for pictures that have obviously been post processed to the great beyond, BUT, this one works, I think. I like the smooth metallic finish and the flood fill works here (nice subtle effect on the border). Reminds me of something that could be on a science fiction book cover or soemthing.

I like the colors here very much. Interesting processing, too, which fits the subject well, but with the frame and the water it's (yes) a bit overdone. But as you say, keep pushing the envelope while we can!

Like a Georgia O'Keefe painting, only somewhat creepier. I like it!

Oh, I love that flood filter too. I recently got it and have been experimenting with dipping a thing or two in beautiful reflective water myself.

Really interesting photo. I've been studying it trying to figure it out and really enjoyed the shapes and textures. . .and colors. Nice.

Heh - fell asleep while drinking, maybe? I've never used the filter, but it looks pretty darn good applied here.

I love it too. But I'm also a "go too far" kinda gal. It's art plus photography ... look at it that way.
