i took this photograph early this morning .. greg called out from the bedroom and said ..'bring your camera' .. thats such a rare thing for him to say .. its usually .. 'put that bloody thing away' .. !!!
these five kangaroos were grazing in the field ... we've just done an extension and so we dont have a fence at the moment .. it was pretty dark and this was at 800iso .. i couldnt get any closer .. i took this from our bedroom verandah .. pretty neat huh !!... i mean being able to take a photograph of kangaroos virtually from my bedroom . not the photograph ..
i'm going to be lying in wait for them very soon .. comfortably, let me tell you .. and i hope to be able to get a photograph where i dont have a tree in the way and composed a lot better AND CLOSER !!! :)
this process was trying to make a very ordinary photograph look better somehow .. i failed .. but i'v put this in our slice of life coz it really is a slice of my life, not a great photograph ...

I can't imagine seeing kangaroos out my bedroom window. I look forward to seeing more pictures of the kangaroos when you are able to get closer.

Wow, what an amazing thing to see and out your bedroom window no less. I'm jealous. I only ever get to see crows. :)

How exciting!! I mean, Greg asking you to bring your camera! (just kidding...) Kangaroos outside your bedroom. That's pretty sweet. If the critters here weren't so severely camouflaged, I might get a photo once in a while, too.
