An Egret seen on the Trinity river. I originally thought it was a whooping Crane. Both birds are very similar looking, but a whooping Crane would have some black and red on his head. (A bird expert, I am not!)

Very nice contrast: the blue is not too blue, and the water texture is made to order. Simple, unexploited details of black legs and feet and stepping stones are just right.

Nicely done. I like the contrast of the snow white bird on the dark blue water. The egret seems to be giving off a soft glow; very pretty.

Lost a little detail in the birds feathers, maybe from softening the focus or noise reduction.
