Close Up shot of miniature tea set. Taken in my kitchen used translucent poly disk to difuse over head light. Used SLIK Sprint Pro Tripod. Black foamcore and read shirt box. Auto levels, cropped, sharpened 150%, 1.0, 10 in PSE2. Some cloning to remove dust. Border added.

**Critique Club**

Greetings Bob!

Positives:
The lighting for this shot, IMHO, is about perfect. None of the white appears to be blown out, at all. The red and black for the backgrounds work very nice here as well. The shallow DOF is very well done as well.

Possible Improvements:
From a technical perspective, the shot is right one. The only area of possible improvement is in the composition. Maybe remove the sugar dish on the left and slide the tea pot to the left so it is more on the 1/3 line and come at it from a slightly different angle.

Overall, technically a very well done photograph.

Very nice example of shallow DOF. Nicely exposed and composed. Colors are pleasing as well. Border, although wider, work for me here. Great job!
