I see to planes in this shot, one in focus and one not. It is hard to tell if you have really achieved shallow DOF...

| Details, colors and focusing are nice and exact. Composition is good for the most part. The only part I'd do differently is avoiding fence bits from going through the head of your subject (in reference to the background). :) Good effort otherwise. |

| Strong rich color, perfect DOF that doesn't take away from the scene...the subject is stunning...the fence lines add a lead lines and shapes for a WOW impact factor without being too busy or over stating things. 10 |

| I like the textures on both the horse and the fence, and the soft focus in the background fence. The muted colors emphasize the cold of the season. |
