 i showed my photograph to a family member and they didnt get the title until i explained .. it seems that life speeds by so fast .. from a beautiful woman to an old lady in the blink of an eye ..
we were at macarthur square today and as we walked past this shop window i saw the poster and instantly thought of this most awesome photograph in nick nixter's portfolio .. his is a mannikin

i only had time to take a few photographs ... i was watching people walking past and trying to get something with a bit of a story & a bit of blur ..

A very solid capture, and excellent title tie-in.
Amazing that the girl in red is the same photograph in both images, yours and Nixters. Maybe it is just the same maniquin and pose in a different shot from the same session. Quite a coincedental find.

The contrast between the funfun girls and the stooped older woman is striking. "King of" - that's clearly not her, either. Yes, in the blink of an eye, indeed. Brilliant image.

She looks so tired and she has practically nothing in her cart. Very nice image with a lot to interest the viewer.

Oh yes. It's busy and lots is going on from the checkerboard to the graphic poster in the window, to the woman with the cart. I like it very much.
