 this shows some great isolation based upon a jacked up shutter speed. A little blurring of the perimeter does not hurt. and, the lighting was tricky based upon no flash.
Dan zanes was the lead singer of the Del Fuegos, an Eighties boston alt-rock band. Now hes a children's legend in the making. Watch out raffi!

I really like the photo, nice candid shot. Very cool. It has good Dof, but its not the strong point...IMO. Nicley done reguardless.

I'm sure you've already heard it, but the head on the right side is very detracting from an othewise OK shot. Your border also is uneven all around.

Playing in a small room? Nice snapshot, but the distortion in the background is a bit distracting.

Nice. I might have cropped off the woman on the left, because (and only because) she is a bit cut at the nose.

Wow, Dan Zanes! In concert! (Sorry, I don't know who Mr. Zanes is!). But I do like how depth of field here emphasizes Dan.

Good picture of the artist, good sharpness and light (though I don't know who he is). I think normally you would have wanted to crop just to the right of him (and maybe even to the left). I don't think the head on the right adds to the aesthetics, other than helping you fit the challenge.
