i processed this image without thinking of our black and white side challenge, and then i desaturated it for day 18 .. this is how it looked before the desat ...

Great PP on this (especially the frame)! I have no idea how you did it but it has a scientific, examining-under-magnifier type of feeling that totally suits the subject. Maybe a bit noisy in the BG in the "magnified" part.

I love the frame within the frame. I actually like the color version better because it's easier to figure out what you're looking at. and the colors in it are wonderful.

Very differant and with my eyes the way they are, I am not sure if I can see the bee, but I love the effect of the rectangle frame within the frame.
