As a preface, I've been backpacking China for some time now. I arrived in Guilin, Guangxi Province, China, just after sunrise. This man was waiting alone on the adjacent platform, probably for a connecting train that was due to arrive for a while. In the distance, as is so representative to me of China these days, lies a crane, a symbol of their continuous dedication to expansion.

Interesting scene but the dark top that curves downward to the right and the the bottom dark area are distracting. I think bringing the reflective ground to the bottom of the photograph would of been a better solution. Also the side of building where the sun is half hidden splits the photograph down the middle. I think a better composition could have been achieved with this shot making it more appealing. I do find the tone and the city building along with the Crane in background interesting.
