I took this at the Florida State Fair. I used the double exposure feature on my camera. It isnt the best picture but I think it gets the point across.

Yeah I know it was crapy but I didnt have my tripod with me I was working at the state fair in florida doing a live broadcast and was thinking about something I could do and I saw this thing all day going up then free falling . I sat there for about 2 hours worknig with it to get the best one but it was still so blury. And I didnt have time to go back and do it the correct way. Oh well onto the next one. :)

Like your choice for the contest... This is really letting go... The shot itself leaves some open questions: like the effect of the dropping, but the circle and the flag on top comes out very blurry, as does the power lines... Would like to have seen a crisp clear tower, with the falling console (?) blurry as it is now... I give it a 5. Could have been a 10.

This would have been so much better if the double image was from the ride moving and not the camera beig moved

Nice take on the challenge. Interesting shot.

I think that would make you let go of your bodily functions!

Why not crop out the power lines?

Interesting exposure.

I don't care at all for the double exposure technique you used for this shot. I appreciate your desire to show motion in the drop, but it's just not well done.

double exposure? good idea but camera moved between exposures?

Crop out the power lines, but the long exposure still woulsn't work for me.

idea is good, sky is nice. power lines distracting, not sure if the blur thing is good or not...perhaps if it was a longer drop that was shown..

took me a while to figure out just what this is supposed to be. I think you could have gotten closer. As it stands it's just kind of messy.

Great potential here but a technical challenge which doesn't come off with this treatment I feel.

I love this ride, ours is called "drop zone", where was this?
