 This is a 2 inch pewter soldier. The shallow DOF makes his gun the focal point, and leaves his face a mystery.

Appropropriately dark; nice use of light! Since most of this is in focus, I'm a little unsure as to how dof is clearly used here--although the contrast between weapon and head shows an inhuman side of war that I find intriguing and effective.
