 Shot at the Kater Street Garden. Go some nifty pics of a monarch butterfly with its wings open and closed and in between. Not sure which way it would have gone as the wings were either opened or closed. This flower is in the state of opening. A few petals have started to unfurl while other have not. I thought the good strong orange of the petasl were complemented well by the creamy green background so I went with it. Yes it is a flower. Flowers do open...and they close. I'm sure someone with a lot of creativity will have some strobes put to good use to win this chanllenge hands down. Artificial lighting escapes me at this point so a flower is what you get.LOL! Enjoy.

Post: Convert from raw in PSElements 3.0. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. NeatImage. Sharpen. Spot edit a couple or three dust spots in the background. Crop twice. Resize. Sharpen.
