Hadn't shot anything today, so went out in the backyard and tried again with the impossible cat, aka Tiger Lily
Impossible, that is, to take a good picture of her. The black hair just eats up all the light, and when the exposure is good on her hair, her face is blown, when I capture the eyes, her body is jet black with no detail. But, hey, what better subject for a black and white challenge then to try, again, to capture the impossible cat.
I'd rate this one average ... I was shooting wide open to get the bokeh effect on her, and to shoot faster since she's always moving around and thinks I'm trying to play with her. Probably should have bumped the ISO to shoot even faster, but not much time to play around today.
