Camera: Sony DSC-F717
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Aperture: 7.1
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/15
Galleries: Abstract, Macro
Date Uploaded: Feb 3, 2004

Two old fawcett handles atop two pages from an old book (a "Wired" publication from back in the day) which had (a) stuck together and (b) stuck to the floor in a corner of one of the unused garages. Photographed more or less as discovered. I did put two washers under the fawcetts to provide depth for the shadow but otherwise I used no artificial light and let the hotspots add texture to the picture. I did not do a lot of composing beyond framing the scene.

Virtually no post processing required except for the tiniest of crops and a levels push.

Beautiful. My only 10 in the entire contest. Well done, you deserve a ribbon for this shot.

I like this but it looks manipulated. What's going on with the lighbulb and the figure?
