Challenge: Garage Art (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Location: Rogeno (LC- Italy)
Date: Feb 1, 2004
Aperture: 5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/60
Galleries: Traditional Art
Date Uploaded: Feb 3, 2004

I take this photo in my grandfather garage on Sunday afternoon. It represent the old tradition, the house work that are now forgotten...

I pay attention to the focus because the subject is long and deep and it was difficoult to make it all on focus, expecially with a camera (like the Canon eos300d) that has some deep-focus problems caused by the using of standard objectives (and not digital one like other digital cameras).

At the end I convert it in b/n format

Get rid of the glare and deepen the DOF and this is a real good shot.

Nicely set up and interesting. Definitely the feel of a garage workroom. The glare off the blade near the top is a little distracting.

Nicely done, but the highlight on the blade is a bit distracting

Great shot. There is a bit of a glare on the top of the saw that is a bit distracting, and I think if you cropped a bit off of the right side to get rid of whatever that vertical object is it would be even better

rough lighting... not quite sure where the focus should be... good composition though
