 A new candy store opened in town, so we went down and bought a bunch of candy canes and lollypops and I planted them in my garden. ;>P Had an idea for a shot with more candy in it, with gum for mulch and lollypops and canes springing out of the ground. After I shot a bunch of those, I stuck one of the lollys in this flower bush and snapped a few pics, and ended up liking the simplicity of this shot more than the more complicated set ups.

Post-challenge: Thanks for the commnets. I actually tried playing with the saturation and lightness settings a lot before entering this, and all those changes ended up destroying the complementary colors that made this shot work for me ... the flowers looked fake when the lolly was brightly saturated, and the colors didn't match up very well.

Wow! Are you Willy Wonka? Can I come over? I always wanted to be let loose where I could eat the flowers!! Great photo - love the colors, too.

Nice pic but is a bit dark. With colours like that I think it needs to be brigher. Great how the colours of the candy match the surroundings. Good eye.

I'm no expert by far, but I think a little more light on the lolli would have made this really nice. Still great colors.
