I had a really beautiful shot of my friend Kinsey submitted for the free study for quite a while, but after my shoot with sara I decided to enter this because it is different and I am curious to see how it is going to score. I have never done anything even close to nude before so I can't wait for some feedback. :)

This was lit with a softbox above and to the left of her and then an umbrella for a little bit extra fill light on the right. The place I photographed is the rehearsal hall of my school which is painted all black. I had no other lights on in the room so that's how I got the deep black contrasting to the textured floor near her, which is textured because of the scratches from chairs and whatnot in the room.

here is an outtake

and here is the shot I was going to enter before:

Good, professional looking portrait. I like the strong black & white contrast. Good lighting and composition. I'm sure this will do well.

Very well, posed, lit and shot. The eyes are excellent, too.

Nice placement of the subject in relation to the camera. I like the angle the camera has! Having a nice subject never hurts, either!!

Interesting lines - I like how the eyebrows match the bend of her knees. Great perspective, too. 8.

I'm not a big fan of the upside-down look composition but you've captured this one beautifully. The lighting and exposure is excellent.

Your light is superb. I just love her shiny eyes. Wonderful tones throughout. One of the favorites in this challenge.

Interesting. I like the lighting on her body but the shadow on her head/hair seems a touch odd.

A beautiful model and I kinda like the spill of the hair. I'm not overly fond of the pose - I guess because I don't see a particular reason for it (other than it's different) and the model looks somewhat disinterested. Light is good, B&W conversion is very good as well.

Wonderful image - those eyebrows do seem excessively dark and angular, but a great image all the same.
