 Driving through Yellowstone I must have made my traveling companion so annoyed.... "stop the car! theres a rainbow!", "stop! theres a bison silhouetted by the sunset", "stop! theres a bison with a eagle roosted on its head silhouetted by a rainbow!", etc... i was almost annoyed at how many unreal photo ops presented themselves, its quite the picturesque locale.

My husband and I want to visit Yellowstone. He understands my need to "PULLOVER NOW!" -tires squeal- The first time I every squealed that out he looked at me and said "whats wrong? carsick?" :)

I understand the comment with the image. It's difficult to ride with someone driving when you have your camera in hand and beauty is everywhere. You have a lot of terrific outdoor images. Thanks for sharing.

OMG .. for starters this is just awesome .. the colours, the clouds and of course the processing ..
and reading your comments i could totally sympathise with YOU .. not your travelling companion !!! .. i reckon those travelling companions can be a real pain .. they need to be told in no uncertain terms wot's important .. which is of course photography .. :) lol ..
i would love to go somewhere that was as gorgeous as this ..

Ha ha - love your comment on this one. It is funny how some places are like that & it CAN be difficult to make progress during a road trip ;~) I love the vanishing point aspect of this as well as the texture of the road.

I camped in Yellowstone when I was 6 years old & STILL remember the beauty of that place.

This is great, so much going on. If you have CS2, I may try some shadows/highlights adjustment, I think it would really make that road pop. It looks like there is a rainbow waterfall in the distance!

Beautiful sky you've captured! Love the vibrant colors, the bit of rainbow is a bonus and draws my eye to that orange lit mountain in the distance.
