 Waterfall image was captured in the rustic gardens at Cuttalossa Inn along River Road. This was my first experience shooting water with a slow shutter speed and tripod. A polarizer filter helped cut down on glare. I tried a bunch of different angles and shutter speeds for this, not having done this before I wasn't quite sure what the results would be. Errosion had taken place along the roadside shoulder due to flooding in the area and my initial impulse was to include that in the photo to dramatize the power of water. But the waterfall alone was dramatic enough so I decided to leave it as is and hope the voters don't penalize me on this one. Whatever the results, it was a wonderful learning experience.

Adjustments in color saturation/variations, levels, contrast, sharpening of detail, cropping.

choice of shutter speed is just about perfect here. could've used a little more adjustment on the black level
