Saturday is my (field) hockey day. Season started today with practice games. My kids are hockeying, I'm watching and making photos. You often see a lot of other things, for example this.

Cropped, reduced noise, level adjustment, resized and sharpened.

Great timing! I agree that prehaps a tighter crop might emphasize the ride more. Otherwise, very nice capture.

Nice action shot but I find that the main subject seems to get lost. Perhaps with a tighter crop on the ramp the image would pop more.

Nice capture!! I am very thankful that he has a helmet on !! Perhaps you could crop out some of the trees on the right, but nice focus on the rider....keeeewl!!!!

Great capture of the action. Maybe try some different crops? Subject seems a bit too centered.

Very good action here and you caught it well.

If it was mine, I'd probably try to blur out the background a bit to focus the viewer on the action, or else zoom in a bit. But you were there, and you know what you had to do to get the action.
