 Taken while my daughter visited us from St Thomas USVI this summer. She is also in the fill the frame challenge. Typical processing with curves, b&w layer, cropped, resized, and sharpened and then saved for web.

Critique Club feedback -

Lovely portrait, perfect b/w conversion. Your model/daughter is very pretty and flattered by both the lighting and the bit of wind carrying her hair. To that end, I would say this picture should be domainated by her and her alone. A closer crop to really highlight the face and hair might look even better.

Ah - I did wonder whether this was mk's sister - hence the 'Sara' remark.

I guess then that it isn't unless your mk's dad. lol.

Both images of your daughter are very beautiful. The soft lighting has yielded excellent portraits in both color and B&W. Great keep sakes of your family.

A little too much whitening in the eyes. I would suggest after apply the whites, to play with the opacity slider to see which looks more natural. Otherwise a very nice model. 6

I like the way she is looking at me ;P, Seriously though great shot good lighting and really nice relaxed model. There are only 2 things that I can see to improve this shot both the background and the hair in front of her eye's are minor distractions. well Done.
