Cropped the left to remove some distractions,
Reduced saturation to -65% and colorized to brown,
Curves (about 3 times),
USM x 2,
Contrast,
Highlight/shadows,
2 layer masks (one on sky, one on boat) whilst increasing contrast and changing levels on sea and pier,
Dodge/burn boat/pier/parts of sea,
Usual stuff- resize, SFW
Saved at 85 quality because it was too large... it loses a lot of sharpness in the resize on the boat and wood of the pier.
Anyways, this photo was one of those random things that I wasn't intending to shoot. The day began as a supposed hike up Blue Mountain itself which is about 2 miles. The plan was to take some panoramic shots of the lake through the rest of the hills. The weather went a bit bad and the clouds were coming in fast so we headed home, on the way back to the truck, there was this boat... |
