this is the last one for our 50 day square crop side challenge ... i did the vignette like this to make the image a square crop .. it looks better as a 6x4 without this very obvious vignette .. these are some of the people in my family .. from left to right .. andrew, rosannah, jacob, paul and ali .. they have all been away overseas for 7 weeks .. except for jacob .. we got together yesterday .. my nephew, david, who isnt in this photograph bought himself a pentax SLR .. he took some of the best photographs in rome and other places .. i'm thinking he may soon fall under the spell of dpc !!!..

Very cool family shot, I especially like the fact that they're all busy doing something (talking/drinking/etc.) & not looking at you. I think the vignette worked well too.
I like the vignetting like this. It looks kind of dreamy, and like we are on the outside looking in at a very close group of people. You do great work!!
All you're missing are the cartoon bubbles explaining their every thought! The expressions are so different, and make me giggle as I make up what's going on....
Roz - very sweet photo! Love the grouping on the sofa with the cool plants in the background - outside. They all seem very relaxed, which speaks of your excellent skill as a photographer. I would be sad, but I'll be talking to you anyway. OX A.
