 This is Mercy, the mother of most of my cats. She just loves to sit on the fence, and this morning I was lucky enough to catch her there as the sun was rising. There were no clouds in the sky but a lot of haze by the horizon, explaining the red sky (real color). I got a lot of shots I really liked, it was difficult to choose just one!

Beautiful pose. The photo greatly conveys the feeling of Mercy getting ready to start her day by absorbing the energy of the sun. Very cool.
