In the wild? Quite a catch if so. A bit overexposed. |

Frame is a bit too busy. Your subject gets lost |

Everything fits here... The lightplay with those colors makes the perfeckt atmosphere over the photo. (8). |

I like the scorpion in these natural surroundings, and the composition is nice, he is frames around the top and side and seems ready to jump out on the viewer. However, he blends in too well with the background and it makes him hard to see, and lowers the impact. Could you make the yellow brighter? Or desaturate the background? Perhaps a little selective editing after the challenge. |

Nice picture, think it would be better if you had cropped everything out except the scorpio. |

His camouflage colourings mean he doesn't stand out against the drab background, especially because the strong light is creating so many shadows from the rubble and branches. I would also suggest the composition might be better if he were looking into rather than out of the frame. |

Lighting is much too harsh and it looks like a toy. |

Good photo but there is something about the exposure on the scorpion.... its a little hard to see... maybe a fill flash would have helped. |

Yikes! He looks mean, bet that really hurts to get stung. Neat BG. Light is a little bright. |

I was hopping to see a real scorpion in this challenge. But your shoot is nice. |

Fake scorpion? I like the sunlight. |

I might have tried placing the prop in the left rear of the photo with maybe a tighter crop. Also might have tried darkening him a little. The angle of the sun seems low on the horizon and maybe a little overpowering. |

I think this would have benefitted from a tighter crop - or possibly getting nearer and lower. If you crop out the tree on the left I think you will probably see what I mean. |

Fill in flash might have helped to get more detail on the scorpoion. |

Good picture, I think I would've preferred either a tighter crop or more space to the right rather than the left :) |

I wish I had access to a scorpion! Too bad you didn't push this image to its full potential, but getting close to it could have hurt. |
