Well, not actually in reverse... I'm sure everyone has seen crepuscular rays, the rays of light you see often as the sun is rising or setting through clouds. These are anticrepuscular rays, which can be seen at the point in the sky exactly opposite from where the sun is setting. Although sunlight travels in straight lines, the Earth is round so the projection of these straight rays onto the spherical sky are great circles. Therefore the rays of light emanating from the sunset appear to come together again on the opposite side of the sky.
