Of the Schuylkill (sic...I just don't feel like looking up the spelling...sorry) River in Philly. I thought I would be taking this picture by the Walnut Street Bridge but the further I walked along to it, I thought this, from right at the Chestnut Street Bridge was better as it avoided having to deal with the tall street lights on the said bridge. So we have the Market Street Bridge and the citycape east towards the Delaware from 30th Street. One thing about the Schuylkill (sic), it is not pretty during the day, but it sure makes up for it at night.

Post: Convert from Raw in PSElements 3.0 with a +0.33 exposure compensation. Layer of Curves adjustment. Lighten Shadows, Darken Highlights and Midtone Contrast (+5%, +5% and -5% respectively). Layer of Hue Saturation. NeatImage. Sport Edit dust. Sharpen. Resize. Sharpen. (Really could use a bit of lense distortion correction but not in basic....grrrrrr!)

The leaning to the right is too much. Perspective, lens, angle? I don't know.

The only thing I might have done differently is rotate the image so the large building on the left was straight. Other than that I've got no complaints about this one.

What is interesting about these night cityscapes is the warm street light tones against the cooler tones of the buildings and sky.

A nice night shot. IMO though I think I would have rotated the photo slightly to straighten the tall building.
