this is crusher, or crushy, which is his more affectionate name ... he's my nephew's dog & he comes for walks with me and katee and sasha sometimes .. he's a border collie .. he's hardly recognisable as a dog when you open it if you havent seen the thumb .. its the sort of image that looks better at a distance ..

Looks like one of those plush and cuddly stuffed dogs. :) I like the blurred foliage on the left, but I find myself wishing (just a little) that the foliage on the right was equally blurred.

I've always been attracted to these kind of shots .. no one else ever was I'd never post them. Very nice work!

Starting to look like a Panda. Interesting with that much blur one can still see clearly whats there.

I love it. It has one of those optical illusion effects. Like, you look at the center part of his face, and it looks like a standalone object with 2 separate objects on either side. Then, magically, the dog comes into "focus", and you see the dog.

I love the razor sharp branches in the foreground.

Cool shot. I pushed my chair away from the computer and looked at this and you are right, it is very lovely further away.

It's a Border Collie, right??

Yup..... I figured it out. His markings are noticeable even when blurred. ;~D
