after i put this in dpc i noticed her tongue is looking a bit dirty .. i'm hoping its the veins .. when i post this i'm going to go and check that she doesnt have some horrible black alien growth on her tongue !!
Ok so was it a wall in the challenge photo that created that blur (or obstruction) in the lower left of your photo? I had really liked that photo but the wall did not work well there. It works awesome here. Excellent capture of the tongue - lol, were you holding a treat for her?

Whoa! Let me guess the setup: YOu take a nice big juicy steak, cut a hole in the middle the size of your lens, then slip it on and as soon as he sees it you start shooting. Am I close? How did you wash the meat juice off your lens? ...oh, that just didn't sound right. :/
